Social Meteor was brought in to relaunch Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square as part of Perth's wider CBD revitalisation. Two very different precincts needed two different stories: Yagan Square as an entertainment and culture hub, Elizabeth Quay as the city's waterfront centrepiece. High-end photography, graphic design and short-form video carried both, tailored to what each place is actually for.
Yagan Square needed to reshape public perception, its design inspired by the Aboriginal six-season calendar and built to bridge Perth's CBD and Northbridge. Elizabeth Quay needed to be positioned as the city's waterfront centrepiece, where urban energy meets the Swan River. Each precinct's social strategy was built around what makes it distinct, not a shared template.
The relaunch proved both precincts could earn genuine attention, not just foot traffic. That work hasn't stopped: paid advertising continues for both, shifting with every new tenant, activation and event so Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square keep feeling like places worth visiting, not just places that were launched once.
